What's In Your Mind Lately?

1 Cor 2:16
"For who has known or understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart."

When we're born again, Holy Spirit makes us clean inside.

1 John 3:9
"No one born (begotten) of God [deliberately, knowingly, and [a]habitually] practices sin, for God's nature abides in him [His principle of life, the divine sperm, remains permanently within him]; and he cannot practice sinning because he is born (begotten) of God."

When we're born again, we're litterally "pregnant" with everything that God is. When someone is pregnant, she has to believe by faith, that the baby is developing. And she'll give birth into a healthy baby.

When we capture a picture with a film camera, we can't see it until it's developed... in a dark room. But so many people give up when they're in a dark time.

What you've learned in the dark, show and tell them in the light.

Regarding our work, the things that we do, people get impressed what we do. But God doesn't impress about what we do unless the right heart attitude is attached. That's why we need to pay so much attention to our mind.

1 Cor 3:11-15
"11For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is [already] laid, which is Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

12But if anyone builds upon the Foundation, whether it be with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw,

13The work of each [one] will become [plainly, openly] known (shown for what it is); for the day [of Christ] will disclose and declare it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test and critically appraise the character and worth of the work each person has done.

14If the work which any person has built on this Foundation [any product of his efforts whatever] survives [this test], he will get his reward.

15But if any person's work is burned up [under the test], he will suffer the loss [of it all, losing his reward], though he himself will be saved, but only as [one who has passed] through fire"

God was so concerned about why we do things. Too many people do things with wrong intention, they might doing it for people pleasure. People might happy, but God isn't happy.

4 things that God teach JM when she is born again:
-Salvation
-Being filled with the holy spirit is wonderful. It's the time when we surrender all, and we realize that we need His power.
-Understand the presence of God is always with us, and to seek Him for what He is not what He can do for us.
-Learning about the important of the inner life: thought, attitudes, motives.

It's a matter of heart.

1 peter 3:3-4
"3Let not yours be the [merely] external adorning with [elaborate] [a] interweaving and knotting of the hair, the wearing of jewelry, or changes of clothes;

4But let it be the inward adorning and beauty of the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible and unfading charm of a gentle and peaceful spirit, which [is not anxious or wrought up, but] is very precious in the sight of God."

It's not hat we can't wear something good (jewelry, hair do, clothes). God created color so we can use it.
The "merely" means "not only" that stuff, but also the inward adorning and beauty of the heart.

Just like Maria and Martha. While Maria was listening to God, Martha was busy to make things right. The real problem was Martha wanted to impress God. Everythings just need to be right.

You can't stop the thoughts that comes to your head, but what you can do is start to focus on the right things. When you can mastered it, life is suddenly really GOOD.
